MTK Flash covers MediaTek-based Xiaomi devices. MTK v5 and MTK v6 (old/new security) all follow the same process below — the only difference is which chipset option you pick in the first step.

China, MDM, PayJoy, Instalment and FMI devices are not supported. Attempting to flash one of these will get your account and its credit blocked immediately, with no recovery possible.
If the device has an ENG preloader or ENG firmware installed and you attempt an auth flash, the device will be treated as a CN device and your account will be blocked.
MTK Flash v6 (New Security) runs authentication twice. That's why it's listed as two separate services on the Status page: MTK Flash v6 (New Security Step1) and MTK Flash v6 (New Security Step2). If your device is MTK v6 New and you only have 3 credits, the flash will not complete — Step 1 uses your credit and you won't have enough left for Step 2. Make sure you have enough credit for both steps before you start.

Step 1: Select Your Chipset and Server DA

Choose MediaTek V5 or V6 depending on your device, then pick the correct product from Server DA.

Step 2: Select Firmware for Flash

Choose your firmware file for flashing.

If the firmware folder contains a download-agent folder, that means it's MTK v6 firmware.

Step 3: Start Flashing

Click Flash Firmware, then connect your device in BROM mode so the tool can read the firmware.

Make sure the firmware file path has no spaces or special characters. Ignoring this can cause you to lose credit.

Step 4: Confirm the Security Warning

A dialog will show device requirements and rules. If you're sure everything is correct, click OK to continue.

Step 5: Monitor the Flash Progress

You can follow the flashing process live in the log window.

Step 6: Reboot When Complete

Once flashing finishes, the tool asks if you want to reboot the device. Click Yes to reboot it now.
