What is the difference between Fastboot ROM and Recovery ROM?

A Fastboot ROM is a full factory image flashed from a PC in fastboot mode, typically used to restore or unbrick a device. A Recovery ROM is a .zip package installed through recovery or the built-in updater and is mainly used for updates.

Are these files hosted on your server?

No. This page only lists official firmware information. Every download button redirects directly to Xiaomi's own CDN, so the files always come from Xiaomi.

How do I find my device codename?

You can search by marketing name (for example Redmi Note 13 Pro) and the codename is shown next to each result. In fastboot mode, the command fastboot getvar product also prints it.
